Extra Magic Hours

Disney Extra Magic Hours Help

Extra Magic Hours called EMH mornings and evenings are part of a Disney programme which allows guests to visit a certain theme park on a certain day outside that park’s regularly scheduled hours.

You need to be staying at one of the following to take advantage of the programme:

Any Walt Disney World Resort
Walt Disney World Swan or Dolphin Resort
Hilton Resort at Downtown Disney
Shades of Green

Each day one of the Disney Theme Parks opens an hour early or stays open up to three hours after regular Park closing, so Disney Resort Guests can enjoy easy access to select attractions – even the most popular ones!   It is only available to guests staying Walt Disney World-owned resorts, Dolphin & Swan Resorts, Hilton Resort at Downtown Disney and Shades of Green.

Extra Magic Hours or EMH can help you make the most of your vacation time and see and do everything at an easy, relaxed pace.

Morning EMH

This occurs one hour prior to the normal scheduled park opening.   So, if the park is scheduled to open at 9am to the general public, the EMH begins at 8am

Transportation for the park offering Morning EMH will begin 30 minutes earlier than the opening time.

NOTE: You MUST present a valid Theme Park admission and your Resort ID at the park’s turnstiles or you will not be allowed to enter.

Evening EMH

Evening Extra Magic Hours extend the parks opening times by three hours!

So if it’s an EMH evening at EPCOT and it’s due to close at 9pm, you will be able to stay till 12am

Not ALL attractions are open during EMH and the ones that are vary.

Wristbands are no longer distributed and now you must be able to show a valid resort ID at any time in the park.
