Loving the new format of live audiance ala BGT. Stacey and Daniel were simply brilliant.

Anyone notice how three of the judges are changing seats? I guess Dannii got fed up of been by Louis' side all the time!

I was blown away by the chap at the end Danyl Johnston. He had such stage presence!

I was disappointed with the new format. I prefer to watch all the really bad performances and wonder at how they think they are great singers

We haven't seen it yet....going to watch it tonight from Sky+

I don't like the idea of the live audience but, we shall see after I've watched.

Yeah, I went on holiday end Sept/beg Oct and missed boot camp but saw all the audition shows and live finals

I don't think I like the new set up with the live audience.....but then again, Daniel's performance wouldn't have been anything near as good if it wasn't for the audience to play to. He wasn't a fantastic singer but he was a fantastic performer....and humble too.

Jodie

I think the live audience is one way of distracting from the judges and making it about the contestants and yeah, Daniels performance wouldn't have seemed half as good without the feedback he was getting and playing to

Wasn't as happy with episode two. The last fella was good, gave a brilliant performance to the crowd etc but I am fed up and all reality shows insisting and milking a sob story.

They're not actually showing many auditions - loads of clippettes.

Oh who saw trouser man on the Xtra-Factor. :jawdrop:

The guy with the afro was amazing.......and someone told me one of the contestants died, is that true?

Ursula

The guy who was crying,

He got an audition last year but it was on the day of his brothers wedding. He went to his brothers wedding and missed his audition. Six weeks later his brother was dead.

ok my honest thoughts here, and i dont generally give them that often as i shy away from it all, but as you asked here goes..

why change something if its not broken............... why does it seem to similar to gbt??
i dont like the live audience!!

and the great performers are already great...... i like to see it when they are shy and to watch them grow, but they have soooo much confidence and are already great performers, i realise i sound ridiculous, but its how i feel

and as for the sob stories....do we really need to hear them before we judge there performances??

Jodie

I like the audience, so far anyway but nope, we don't need a sob story for every person who walks on stage. Reminds me of R'Wayne from the Peter Kay thingy!

Ep3 lat night. I still prefer the live audience but do wish they'd show more of the actual auditions, last night it seemed only few people went through and they desperately need to show more groups, however bad they are!

Lucie was amazing!

He is so annoying.

Upto now I like;

Miss f.r.a.n.k
Stacey Soloman
Lucie Jones and the older woman witht he afro in the over 25's category (I can't recall her name!!)
I was dissapointed with the teacher from essex, but I was pretty impressed with the over 25's.

My prediction at the minute is Stacey to win- She is not one of the best singers but her personality makes her SO likeable!

Britchick
05-10-2009, 08:13 PM

Just watching it now (Recorded it since I was out) and WOW. Olly was GREAT! He wasn't one of my favourites from the beginning but now I think Simon is onto a Winner with him

Stacey is doing amazingly well- but any song that reminds me of Disney is going to please me!

She has just found this confidence that I've never seen in her before!!

I love Joe, and l think Miss Frank are great. I also Stacey is great BUT i think she puts on the "Daftness" a bit after she has sung. As in her pre recorded bit she's not as daft.,

john and edward are still in because the crazy british public keep voting for them

and thats fine while we try and get the not so good out, as i love watching what there going to do next. BUT when daniel and miss frank were in the bottom two then obviously its time for them to go

josh.p.
31-10-2009, 10:39 PM
I loved Lucie tonight, thought that Danyl really played up to being in the bottom two and it wouldn't shock me if he was there again. He is playing on the sympathy vote and it doesn't wash with me! I don't want him to be cocky again but at the same time I can't be doing with a puppy dog mopesing around!!!

I liked Jo too  Not seen the others yet as I'm watching it on the digibox.

funnily enough i thought of you when they showed that!

Claire

I'm thinking maybe it might be time for the twins to go. For the last couple of weeks now when the judges are giving their opinions, if it's not very complimentary one of the twins (unsure which one) starts to look really upset and the other twin always has to comfort him. They're so young & it must affect them hearing the harsh words. Better to go out in the 4th or 5th week than to go on to win and the record company to pull the plug after a year and shatter their dreams as in the case of Leon Jackson?

I agree, the truth hurts though, and it's a fact- they can't sing. They shouldn't be there at all, but it's not their fault they are there.

I think they'll be gone this week or next week.
