We took the kids to Longleat yesterday (24th August)
We arrived at about 11.30 and found the Safari Park was closed untill 2pm due to overcrowding!!
So we parked up at the main attractions exchanged our Tesco vouchers for Passports and headed into the Butterfly House.
Now, this area has changed significantly sice our last visit 3 years ago, back then it was quite cramped with a single walkway around the attraction. You ended up being herded along by the people coming in behind you. now it is larger and there is plenty of room to wander around looking out for all the butterflys with plenty of staff on hand to answer questions.

This one is a Glass Wing Butterfly, this was Mason's favourite butterfly so I had to try and peer through the branches with the camera

Next we headed the the Hedge Maze. It's pretty big!! We got lost!!
4137
We walked!!
4138
And Walked!!!
4139
And eventually found the castle in the middle

We eventually escaped the maze collected our medals for finding our way out  and headed back to the car to drive to the Safari Park.
Here are the various animals we encountered along the way.

Freya had a balloon butterfly made for her while we awaited the boat trip around the lake
4152
On the boat we saw Sealions, caught a glimpse of a Hippo and just caught sight of the Silverback Gorilla

4155
Then it was off to Pets Corner
4156

Then, finally off to the Adventure Castle to let the kids run off some steam before the drive home.
