Which is the best, in your opinion? I was very impressed with economy Virgin Atlantic, so that sort of 'sets the bar' at what I find good . My travel was good in my book too  .
We are used to going to spain etc for short distance flights, so a plane is just a way to get from A-Z and the extra leg room and complimentary drinks seemed 'luxury' because it was a long haul flight LOL.
We're looking for flights which are cheap, but we don't want to be cramped and have a ****** plane either:lol:

Wellllllll virgin were once the best in my opinion but they've definitely gone down in my view recently :( Stands instead of gates at Manchester airport, staff less interested, lower luggage allowances, higher prices, less discounts, less frequent flyer benefits etc.
Some of the cheapy airlines like first choice now have better seat pitch than virgin for less money and you can upgrade to really rather swish seats for MUCH less than virgin.
Having said all that, I think the drop in virgin standards still leaves it with a few nice features. Only one to fly direct from Manchester to MCO (as far as I know) in flight drinks inc some alcoholic ones included

i think it all depends on the route, the aircraft and the actual staff. I think at times there all as bad as each other!!

LOL- we really don't give a toss how good the actual service is, all we want is good leg room and meals with complimentary drinks. Virgin economy REALLY impressed me, but the Travel City Direct's new plan fleet looks like the same as virgin economy.
One of the perks with virgin was the rather hot air cabin lady LOL

it used to annoy me but now i just think well its 8/9 hours of my time as long as i'm safe i'd sit on the floor!
Eva air were very good to Bangkok if anyone's heading that way, no we hadn't heard of them either but they have a faultless safety record and do a lot in Asia

yeah I've ended up saying the same. I used to get so stressed and to be honest, on the way there its disney so who cares where we sit and on the way back home, first class champagne with a movie theatre isnt going to make THAT any better

I've just looked at TCD and a fly drive for 4 on their XL one cabin is £4480.
It sounds like a gairy price to me, I thought it'd be more about £3000, then again, I've never booked a holiday so...!
Is that a good price? Dad said florida was expensive but... WOAH!
Remember, fuel prices have incresed airfare significantly recently.
My brain--and checkbook--doesn't even want to consider that in dollars!
