Wednesday 19th August.
We set of about 2pm the drive wasn’t too bad apart from the heat, a pretty non-eventful afternoon travelling to our hotel for the night. We arrived about 5pm and checked in unpacked the items we had taken and went to get something to eat. Returned to the hotel chilled out and watched television.

Thursday 20th August.
We got up, showered, dressed and packed everything away, we set of about 9am and got to Longleat about 10am the weather wasn’t to good when we started rain but by the time we had arrived we had dry warm weather. Wooooohooooooo.
<o:p></o:p>
We started with the safari park which took us about 3 hours to get round, we didn’t get to go though the monkeys due to a female monkey being unwell. Kids were a little upset but we had told them on the Wednesday that the monkeys were closed.
Once we finished the safari we parked the car and went to look inside Longleat house, it was very strange to be inside a house that I have seen on the television program a number of times.
Then of to pet corner, the maze, the butterfly house. By about 5pm the kids were getting tired and asked to go home, we all agreed and set off for the 3 hour drive home, on the way we stopped to show the kids Stonehenge. Here are a few shots from our day.
