Thanks to all of you for your well wishes! We had a marvelous weekend! So much so that when we got home yesterday I dropped down on the couch and fell sound asleep - something I almost NEVER do!

We walked our legs off at the Air and Space museum at Dulles Airport the first day before having a marvelous dinner. The next day we walked our legs off walking through the American History museum - we were a bit disappointed with their recent "remodel". Then yesterday we walked our legs off at the Marine Corp museum down the road a bit from our house. It was great and we can't wait to get back there and see the parts we missed.

We had a wonderful room on the 14th floor of the Hyatt - we were upgraded and it was nice! The desk manager also sent up a bottle of wine and a cheese plate for us to enjoy.

The restaurant welcomed us with a glass of champagne! It was an awesome meal!!! I had a lovely filet Mignon and John had Bay of Fundy scallops. We shared a salad of heirloom tomatoes and they were delicious!
