Help me choose....

between Jimmy Buffet's and Bubba Gump :confused:
There is something on both menus that both myself and DH will enjoy but we only have one night for dinner at CityWalk.

Is there entertainment at Jimmy Buffet's?

Margaritaville is fabulous!!! It has an awesome atmosphere. And every hour, or maybe half hour (I can't remember) the volcano behind the bar errupts and spews margarita mix. And yes, they do have live music, after 10 I think... But being a huge Jimmy Buffett fan, this one has my vote!!

I vote for Margarittaville! We just went there on Sat night. There is a live band in the evening. It's just so laid back and fun.

We keep saying we're going to try Bubba Gump but we haven't yet :oops:

I've been to Bubba Gump's (not in Orlando though, in Honolulu and Miami) and I'd say go to Margaritaville. :yes: Be sure to sit in one of those fabulous Adirondack chairs outside before you go in! :D :D

We went to Bubba Gumps and to be honest, and I know some people LOVE BG's, we were disappointed. It was expensive for what it was... there are loads of nicer places to go.

We went to Bubba Gump in 2006 and although it was OK I wasnt overly impressed. The fries were cold and the rest of the kids' food was lukewarm. My dish was lovely but overall, I wasnt that impressed. The kids want to go back, so it looks like i am stuck with it.

Have to agree with you Mags and Helly. Nothing remarkable or outstanding at that restaurant. The theming is fun, but that's about it. I wasn't thrilled with the menu choices either. Don't know what I expected, but clearly something other than what they had to offer. :shrug:

So, looks like Jimmy Buffet's then. Some of you have said that there is entertainment on at 10pm....does this mean there is a bar there too away from the dining area?
What type of entertainment do you get?

There is a bar area, and it is quite large. You'll understand better when you get inside. The place is rather like an L and the bar is in a portion of both sections. :yes:

Can't comment on the entertainment as I've never been there that late. LOL! :23dors:

There is also a bar outside that is across from the main restaurant and part of what looks to be a docked plane. Then there is the Porch of Indecision which is a bar as well.

I LOVE those chairs! DH was with us at Universal this past weekend and I told him he could take one of the chairs home in the car. He said it wouldn't fit :(
