So is anyone else going to be waiting in line on Friday for the new Apple iPhone 3g or am I the only sad one :lol:

It has GPS though so wonder if it'll be any good for this geocaching lark

I'm refusing to buy it until it has at least flash and video recording!!!! Its still cool just not cool enough until its got video and flash oh and a decent camera!!!!!

I offered my old one to DW and she doesnt want it because, quote, "it doesnt even fit in the cell phone compartment of my hand bag"

My DD is due to upgrade her Sidekick III and she's looked at these as an alternative. Keith do they offer any form of instant messaging preferably AIM? That is a 'must have' apparently.

It's been a bit poor up until now relying on web applications only. However, come this friday the apple "app store" opens up and we're all expecting apps like AIM etc. to be there.

The unlimited data plan on o2 makes it really great for that although the on screen keyboard isnt as good as a real one for typing IMs. I mean it's "good" and better, much better than you'd think, but probably not as good as a sidekick

I can completely understand why it's not sensible to have a phone that doesn't fit into the compartment in a bag, I wouldn't have turned down the phone though, I'd have bought a new bag :lol: :lol:
