So decided to take some shots,as you do.

River Dance boat on blackpool beach, which unfortunatly was blown on shore by a storm.

We where not allowed to get close to the boat,so good job i had the big daddy of zoom lenses on me.

Great pictures

I am going to Blackpool in a couple of weeks - DD is dancing in a competition at the Winter Garden. You are making me see Blackpool in a different light to the one I am imagining :)

The well known image of Blackpool is still there between the Tower and the Faiground, but is much different if you cross the road to walk by the sea.

How far do I have to walk from the Winter Gardens then to get to the quieter area? And in what direction? :)

It isn't far from the Winter Garden to the prom. Cross the road. Right or left is much quieter near the sea. Riverdance is a bit of a drive to the right.

Im a bit depressed :( so much on at work that I'm getting no chance at all... I'm sort of living through this group right now and of course the more I see in here, the more it's pushing me to try and get out to take some which is GREAT

Oh Noooooooo just been looking at my shots and to my horror,i have just seen dreaded black spots on them.

Well that means i will have to get my Rocket blower out and hopefully shift the dust on the lens,or it might be on the mirror.::confused:

Anyway they have to go.

looks like sensor dust to me Liz :( I hope not but if it survives in the same spot with different lenses then it's almost certainly sensor dirt.

I REALLY recommend the artic butterfly by visible dust

They're not VERY cheap, but they work superbly with a lot less risk than the cleaner fluids, brushes and blowers
