Who in their right mind would order 4 Eddie Izzard DVD's? I only ordered one, I only want one! Not 4!!

Are they all the same? Maybe you can give some for gifts?

Stupid meerkats. Still have over 10 boxes of meerkat cards in the house. Even put a couple of boxes into the school christmas raffle - knowing my luck I'll win them back. :rotfl:

I love Amazon. I have been shopping with them from the beginning...in the beginning they only sold books.

Did you have to pay for all 4?

Yes! They've charged me for all 4! Noodle people!

They did the same with me....I ordered one "How to raise Chickens" book and they sent and charged me for two!!! Come one, there is no way I'd want more than one of that! I even had the original print out that said I ordered one so I knew I wasn't going mad (well, more than I am already  ).

So, do they make their mistakes right then? Do they refund your money, or are you stuck?

When I rang to say I didn't need 4 of the same DVD Tink I was told my order had entered the despatch process so there wasn't anything that could be done. I was advised to either refuse receipt of 3 of the DVD's but that wouldn't be possible if they're packaged up with other stuff plus I wouldn't have proof that I'd returned them and the other option was to accept them, repack them and take them to a post office and obtain proof of posting for a full refund. Silly thing is I only placed the order at some silly late hour but couldn't cancel or amend the order less than 7 hrs later! :(

Ugh. So, to get your money back you have to spend MORE money and more of your time? Not exactly good business.

Back to the original idea, then? Can you give the others for gifts?

Not really Tink. The original is for Poppy. My nephew sort of likes him. But as far as anyone else goes they're pretty much covered already.

tell them they can come and get them from you as they are unsolicited goods. Have they charged you for them Claire? if you have proof you only ordered the one then technically they have stolen from you too.

TBH I don't know what went wrong. I thought I'd ordered 1 but the confirmation email showed 4. I'm actually beginning to panic a little because to date I've had 6 emails telling me 4 Eddie Izzard DVD's have been dispatched. Praying I don't end up with 24 copies of his DVD!

If they have made the mistake they should pay for the shipping. You usually just have to print off the form, keep the items in the box and then take it to your local postal place.

I can only imagine how frustrating this must be.
