Here's a MacWorld article I ran across that has some tips for taking pictures of Christmas lights! I thought it was pretty interesting. There were some things in there that I would never have thought of.

Hope you might get some use out of it.

Taking pictures of Christmas Lights (http://www.macworld.com/article/145049/2009/12/holiday_lights.html)

Tom (:macwave:... learning is good! Now if I could just remember.)

PS - Note that the article says "Holiday lights", not "Christmas lights". However, I refuse to be politically correct! It's too much work! :laugh2:

Well, it's not always politics, Mr. Tom. Hanukkah is the Festival of Lights, eh? :D :D :D

Nice article! Thanks!

I know my camera allows you to adjust aperture & shutter speed but I'm afraid the user (me) is not educated in it enough to know how. I need to take some pics of my house...not that it's anything special...but I have a friend wanting to see it. I'll have to try the right before dark idea.
