I hope my 16 yo can do a marathon someday or even a half marathon. She runs on her high school Cross Country team & she can do 5 miles at the most at one time right now. I can't imagine the training & dedication that has to go into preparing for one of these. Give her my congrats. No matter what place you come in, just to finish something like this should make you feel so proud of yourself.
