Last visit to WDW, I forgot I had bought some pins at the start of my holiday and about three weeks later.....I went back and duplicated about 6 of them!!
I am thinking about taking them back with me next visit to trade.
I noticed at the pin shop at DTD, they had started to put trading pins on a board and, you stood in a queue....when it was your turn, you put your pin on the board and chose another to take free of charge. Anyone done this?
The other option of trading with a CM....is there certain lanyards that CM's wear which mean they only trade with children?
I'm thinking the green CM lanyards are for trading with children only.
I just purchase a few pins that remind me of my visit. The resort, an event, etc.

I just love collecting pins.
I have loads of them, and each year it costs me a fortune..
Will post a pic of all those i have collected.

OK this is how it works.
first you have your pin it must be a real disney pin not a fake
then you find the CM and if hes wearing a black or red lanyard you can trade any pin he has for 1 of yours
as long as he doesn't already have your pin.
now if you find a CM with a green lanyard this lanyard is for only trading with kids and the CM
doesn't have to trade with you unless you have a child with you picking the pin off
the green lanyard.
and yes now certain places the CM bring out books and pin boards for people to trade this way works the same way
just gives you more pins to look at because lanyards only hold about 12 pins
where a book and board hold a lot more.
i hope this helps any question just PM me always happy to help.

This question was asked 3 years ago, so it was along time ago and Isafari will have sorted things out.
I have closed this thread.
