We're going to Disney World!

Seriously last trip I had everything planned by now. This trip I haven't done hardly anything because it still hasn't sunk in that we're going. Here I am 6 weeks away from ADR day and not even thinking about it.

I usually have my ADR's on time as you will, but it doesn't hit me until we land at Orlando International Airport and are on the monorail to the main terminal .

Is there a bookie that will take odds on Disneyworld being shut for a day?

29-12-2009, 05:34 PM
I'm still thinking no point in getting excited because we're not actually going.

We got like that - couldn't actually picture yourself there - I know its because you want it so bad. But like I said it never really becomes real until you are on that monorail in MCO, because not only are you actually there but you also know at that point that your bags are as well :D

Oh and if you are going peak season missy you had beter gt your ADRs sorted pronto it was hard enough in February!! unless you are planing on taking 14 days worth of packed lunches :D

30-12-2009, 12:58 PM
Make a few plans, and a couple of ADRs, Dawn. It will seem real then.

Here, we can help!!!

The plane has landed at MCO. You are on the tram from your terminal to the main terminal...

What car agency are you with? You have to pick up the car and then go where? Are you going to do a grocery stop? Where? Publix or the wonderful new Whole Foods that is VERY accessible to WDW? What are you going to buy? Snacks? Drinks? Meal supplies? Treats? (They have a pretty good cheese selection and a really comprehensive selection of prepared foods).

See? Now start, woman! :hug2:

30-12-2009, 04:27 PM

The car is with Budget.

There is a Publix apparently 5 minutes from the villa. We'll just do a very quick stop for basics and dinner on the first night.

First morning is Operation Walmart! :wavehands:

30-12-2009, 05:44 PM
Oh good g-d. :sigh: Isn't there ANYWAY I can talk you out of Walmart? :sorry:

30-12-2009, 05:51 PM
Nope. Just the first morning. To satisfy my curiousity and then it's on to DTD.

Do we need an ADR for House of Blues?

30-12-2009, 06:07 PM
I don't know...

Foods horrid though, so probably not. :sorry:

30-12-2009, 06:07 PM
Oh, right. I'd forgotten that you've never been to a Walmart.

Pick a good one then. You'll want the full effect.
