I've just heard a horrible rumour and wondering if anyone can confirm this : Is the World Of Disney store closing in NYC ? I really hope not . :cry1:

Well then. That's not a good way to start out the new year. :sigh:

I was hoping with the new focus on the shops by the WDW corporation we'd see more stores, not less. I can't imagine that the one in NYC is having trouble with revenue? :unsure:

Well it's lost out on a lot of revenue next August! :lol:

Closing? Didn't it just open a short time ago?? Seems it hasn't been that long at all. Well, there is another destination I guess I'll never get to experience :(

can't be anymore depressing than losing WOD ! What about our NYC pin events ? This just seems to unbelieveable to be real . Everytime I've been there , the store has been hopping with guests . Even saw Cameron Matthison & family in there over the summer .
Ryan from All My Children, Dancing with the Stars and has co hosted with Kelly Ripa on Regis & Kelly Live for those that had no idea whom I was speaking of .

Apparently rent on 5th Ave is too high. Disney states they have been looking for a place in Times Square.

Oh, this is good news that they are only relocating . Hoping to get Tinker to go to NYC sometime after Thanksgiving . Does anyone know the date of the tree lighting ?
