Every NYE, we make lots of appetizers and eat ourselves silly. I went to Trafer Joe's tonight and got all sorts of yummy cheeses and $3 buck Chuck (their house wine).

A friend on FB mentioned these and I am SOOOO trying this tomorrow

Bacon Wrapped Pineapple

cut a pound of sliced bacon in half, take a half slice at a time and wrap each one around a chunk of pineapple, once you've finished with the entire pound, broil them in the over until crispy, pull them out of the oven, drain, place on a tray and drizzle with soy sauce. You can vary it by placing a small bowl of soy sauce on the side instead of drizzling it. Enjoy :)

One year, I wrapped little smoky sausages in bacon and baked them with brown sugar. OH.MY.GOD. was that good mmmmm

My friend also wrapped shrimp with bacon and snow peas and broiled them delish.

Notice a theme? everything is good with bacon.

We did most of our shopping for our dinner tomorrow night.

We bought filet mignons, pate with port, three French cheeses, baby beets, two additional bottles of bubbly ( :D ) a fruit tart, chambord cake, ummm... well, that's the most of it.

We need to get puff pastry, and a couple of other things to finish the menu.

I don't much like bacon, American bacon that is. :sorry:

It's a savoury maize snack in beef flavour...

I like the pickled onion one more.

Blue? Really, you have crisps that turn the tongue blue?

I love the 'normal' ones but the twirly ones are wicked aswell!

I buy massive bags as soon as I can and spend two weeks munching my way though them when i'm in the US.

Monster Munch come as Roast beef, Picked Onion and Some sort of hot flavour, You want fancy them all or loads of one?

:)
