Oh, I do like the pretty blue lights! And your Santa tree topper is lovely too...I would say I was done decorating, but to be truthful, I've been done for ages.
You see, the Christmas tree from LAST Christmas is still up. Couldn't be bothered to try to wrestle a 9.5 foot tree down to the basement for storage...so there it sat, January till now!Since we'll be visiting Mickey for the holidays, I think of it as VERY advance planning. Heh.:embarassed2:

Thank you. You can't see it, but it has silver bulbs. I also decorated the stair banister with lights and garland.
I love the blue and silver theme. It's warm and comforting to me. I can hardly wait to turn on the fire place, and watch movie, all while sitting under a blanket. Of course the tree and lights will be on.

It reminds me of a tree my Grandparents used to have. Makes me feel all warm, cozy and a touch nostalgic. Thank you for sharing it with us, Billie. :hug2:

Your tree is lovely and I love the blue lights.
This year I am very lucky and will be putting up 2 trees - 1 at the villa which I did just before I left on Thanksgiving day and one at home next weekend.
Hope you don't mind me posting my villa tree but it's the first time I've done it at the villa ( we have guests going in on 21st Dec from Canada and I hope they like it)
I bought some lovely bits in JC Penney & Walmart and brought them home for my tree, so I am really looking forward to putting that up next weekend

Why don't we all post pictures of our trees once we have them up.
We are going out at the weekend to get ours as we get a real tree and went to Ikea and bought new decs this year. Thedy have some lovely ones. Also if anyone has seen in Primarni (Primark) they have for £12 a train track with xmas train to go round the tree. Angela bought one but have a feeling my two dogs may take a fasncy to it!!

I think that is a nice idea, the posting of photos. Of course, that will necessitate my finding the camera...
But it's a great idea! :D
