View Full Version : Plan with the boys that backfired slightly now I have an embarrassing secret

Well keen to get the 'boys' into my sort of music I encouraged father christmas to bring them Guitar Hero 5 for Christmas.

This is great and they like nothing more than 'rocking out' to some great old songs and some newer ones.

Now I have prided myself for many years that I don't own a CD from the last decade ( pretty much) as the bands I listen to are mainly 70-80's guitar based rock outfits.

Having played along with the boys now I have to admit I got a bit obsessed with the Coldplay track on there

I have bought ' A rush of blood to the head' and its a really very good album

:sigh: Is there any help for me?

Which track of the album is it that you like?

Don't be embarrassed it's horses for courses and all that

I have a diverse taste in music which would probably make you want to run a mile to get away from the noise

In my place was the track. Butto be honest the whole album is good. I like the scientist a lot as well.

Just like bands making music. Too many no talent dubbed dance troups in the last 15 years

Coldplay use proper musical instruments to make proper music.

No giggling from my corner.

What the heck is a Cold Play?

You should be ashamed of yourself. :nono: No one listens to that old stuff any more.

LOLOLOL. Hey, are you embarassed because you like them, or because you only just now discovered that you like them?

I too have a widely divergent taste in music, so you'll get no (real) complaint from me!

Also got a Killers Cd as well  current music is not something I am used to, I feel `i am betraying my musty old Pink Floyd Albums.

Tom I do understand downloads but I still like to own something tangible with the artwork ( which is all part of an album to me - still not as good as the old gatefold vinyl) - I have no way to play an iPod through my car stereo other than with one of those fm transmitters and that is pretty poor quality as we have a lot of French radio stations on the South coast interfering! Also I am parnoid about iTunes if the computer crashes or something that it will be lost

I'm just stuck in my ways on this

Coldplay is not embarrassing....owning a song by a guy named Flo Rida is. :embarassed2:Is that even a name?

My favorite today is still my doo-wop songs. Ahhh, when people really sang. :smilejig:

I did not know that. What happened to "hi I'm Bob" or "hi I'm Sara?"

Nonetheless, Right Round gets me through my workout.
