Is there anyway of finding out what movies will be playing on board during the Cruise? Do they play the most recent releases?

Yes, recent releases with the occasional "premier" thrown in for good measure. They even sometimes play movies the day before they're "officaily" released. :thumbsup:

On one of our cruises, I managed to find out that the "Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe" would be playing. If I remember correctly, I think I just called the Disney Cruise Line reservation number and the CM there was able to give me the list. Course, they're not always just playing in the Buena Vista theater. HHG was actually playing in the Walt Disney theater.
