Oh gosh, that's far more solemn a shot than I realized! I have a knack for catching people between smiles!

He was having a strawberry fruit bar! :yes: He had just had lunch at Yak and Yeti (his request) and we were on our way out of the park.

He's six now. :sigh: Six. How can that be? I remember the first time he came to us, nothing more than 8 days old... then all those months he lived with us... now he's an old boy, going to kindergarten, living happily with his Da...

Time in its incessant pace onward. Ugh. Too melancholy for such a happy day.

Thank you all for being so kind to wish him a happy birthday. He'll have a nice surprise looking at the boards and seeing all his greetings!

Time does indeed have a dirty habit of marching on just as we want it to stand still, eh?

Ah well...he's growing well and strong...and that's what's important. The memories are ageless.

oh goodness, I remember the growth spurts. I bought Alysia new school clothes in Aug and by Oct, she looked like she was ready for a flood!
