Thank you all for your thoughts, words and prayers. Oscar joined his brother Vinnie this morning. The preliminary blood work on Payton came in negative (yeah). They sent it our yesterday afternoon to a specialist to run more thorough tests and we'll know more Monday or Tuesday.

I was hit with more bad news last night when I got home from work. I learned that my Dad has stage 4 lung cancer. He also has some swelling in his esophagus which they are doing a biopsy on Tuesday. Once they know those results and get him financial help for the treatment they will begin (3 weeks tops). The prognosis does not look good from what I have read, maybe six months. Please keep him in your prayers.

I am still planning on posting pictures from our cruise last week and the navigators. I think it will help me keep my minds off things.

It really was an amazing thing to witness. I had never seen two cats bond the way they did and we had only adopted them last July.

Some good news - Payton's remaining blood work came back negative but that just means the FIP has not become active. We need to continue to monitor her daily habits to look for any behavioral changes and then in two months see will be retested. We will then know for sure if she is in the clear. So far so good!

A lovely tribute for your beloved Oskar and Vinny. Thank you for sharing it with us. Their bond came through in the photos. You are right. It was amazing to witness.

Sending every good wish that Payton stays healthy. :pdust: :pdust:
