i used to love it, i've probably forgoten all the stories!
I had totally forgotten about this series. Bruce Willis and errmmm the blonde model... I can see her but can't remember her name.
The one episode that is still available in my failing memory banks :) is one that employed The Taming of the Shrew as a story line.
WHAT was that actresses name!!!???
Oh, meant to say I was given a set of Julia Child's first cooking series on PBS. :D :D

We say 1/2 an episode on a new sky channel - thisnk its called CBS drama where its on at 9 every night and fell in love with it all over again
The tameing of the shrewq episode is an all time classic, as is the one where Al Jerreau forgets to turn up to sing the theme tune  Bert and Miss d'pesto are brilliant as well ' woolly bully' superb stuff
looks very very 80's though

I used to love that show. They had awesome chemistry. I didn't even know it was out on DVD. Sounds like a great present.
Cybil Sheppard's other show, Cybil, was hilarious. That one had Christine Baranski in it.
Didn't a couple of Temptations turn up on one episode?
Amazing how many of us grew up loving that show.
Speaking of the Temptations, they are appearing at some little hotel in Plant City, Fl. You know, the strawberry place?

It was probably one of the first ever programmes that had the characters interacting with the viewers. The comedy the chemistry and the stories were all just sublime.
