I read somewhere that Princess Tiana make appearances behind the Christmas shop at Liberty Square (I think probably along the secondary route over the moat to Adventureland instead of going along the main sidewalk/parade route around the castle.)

I never got to see Tiana and the Showboat Jubilee. I hope they bring it back. You would think that Tiana will go on to be one of the most popular princesses. Plus, February is Black History month.

Come on Disney! Step up the African-American Princess appearances! Don't stick her behind some random building!!! I suggest having her stand in the lobby for the Hall of Presidents!

That would be great!!

Yes, it's time for WDW to be a little more diverse in their Princess line up. There is some diversity now, but it's good to be even more inclusive, eh?

I've not seen her yet, but then I don't often go to MK.

I know, right? I only go to MK on average once a year. I have a feeling a trip to Epcot is imminent...
All I'm saying is that they had NUMEROUS opportunities to capitalize on Tiana not only at the parks but really throughout the resort property (hello, Port Orleans???) that they DID NOT take. And I think it's really weird. If they claim it's because they were trying to conserve money...that's b.s. because MILLIONS of profit pour into Disney per year. You would only think with aggressive marketing of a minority princess would only enhance the returns.
