I can't drink Guiness, it's too bitter but I do make nice beef in guiness with mashed potatoe

Enjoy yourselves

Yep, her name is Misty and this was taken about ten minutes before we were inundated with St. Patrick's Day revelers! This pub has a full week (longer actually, two weekends) of celebrations. It's a nice place. Wish the food were better, but it's getting there... at least some of it is edible now.

Is this a local place, Tink? Or part of a chain. We've got one of the Firkin Pubs that have opened close to us but haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

Tom (:macwave:... always looking for a good Pub!)

It's a local place and not a chain. It's kind of campy in that it's got some fake stone walls, and the like. The decor tries a little too hard to be Irish cottage, but we love it for all that.

It has an outside bar too, and that is always jammed as they allow smoking out there.

There are sports on tv all the time too. Sometimes even good ones like rugby, both Irish and Aussie! :9:

They have music in the true pub tradition, and yesterday someone actually got "up there" and did some jiggin'. She wasn't that good but we all applauded as that's what it's all about eh? The CRAIC I mean.
