and why?

My favorite animal are tigers. Why? They are beautiful, dangerous, powerful and just magnificent.

I love all felines....But I'd have to say plain ole house cat would be at the top of my list.

I posted in another thread about a magnet I saw recently. Something along the lines of "cats were reverred for thousands of years.....they have never forgot" very true in my house

I'm so bad at choosing favorites. As soon as I choose one, then I immediately think of another!

I like meerkats - they're just full of cute!

And I like elephants - I went through a stage of collecting elephant things :transport025:

aww Alysia loves elephants. She couldn't say elephant when she was little, so she would call them pellets.

Oh please do!! That is an animal with a serious identity crisis...

What takes you at work today?

I love owls. I love how they sit back, watch, and then swoop and grab their prey. I like their independence. I think they are absolutely beautiful and am fascinated by their talons. I hope to get an owl tattoo when I graduate with my degree.

I also enjoy cartoon or yellow ducks. I have loads of stuffed animals like them. Which is further spurred by my love for Donald. :D

I love wolves - always have. I also have a tattoo of one. There is just something so strong and wise about them. Now I have my wolf-ish looking doggie and I'm a happy girl.

I think I finally have to weigh in. I love all animals, but the ones that always come to mind and heart first are Gorillas and Chimpanzees. Primates in general really (SEE! Can't do the "one" thing!). I've always felt my dream job would be working with the gorilla family at AK.

A gorilla would rip your arm off and smash you over the head with the soggy end.

A hippo would never do that to you. :D

The breeder we bought them from wishes she had kept Jasper for breeding as he is a perfect specimen. He knows it too...

That's a wise decision, Siamese generally do not tolerate other cats well..
Or each other.
Or people.....

Isn't that the truth. We had Siamese male cats while growing up. One at a time actually. The first one had never been fixed. He used to pace back and forth in front of the door trying to get to a female outside. I was 6 or so and I thought he was sick :p I have never heard a cat make such a noise!

I really wanted a husky but a friend of ours had one - went out for the evening and found it had eaten all her skirting boards when she got hom

While I do love my flamingos, my favorite animal actually is the wolf. There is just something about them draws me towards them. We even had a dog that was part wolf and I have to say he probably was smarter than Bob and I put together
