The crew members definately go that extra mile with their towel animals don`t they, especially in the way that they sometimes use your own items as "props".
Serenity Bay looks deserted, I guess you were among the first to arrive there.
This is something we always try to do but somehow we always end up having to trudge a fair distance along the beach to find a vacant spot.
[That`s a result of a combination of having my DW with me along with the shops we pass on the way to the tram stop! :lol:]

My DW was also very worried about getting sea sick before we did our first cruise, but to be honest, when you get over that initial slight feeling of movement as you sail away, you soon get used to it.
The Disney ships [as well as probably most of the other cruise liners] have stabalisers to minimise the rocking effect and also the captain always tries to avoid any really bad weather.

Having said that on our very first cruise we had really turbulent seas on our first night and everyone was feeling the effects, even several of the Crew Members!
We found out later that these were the worst conditions that the ship had experienced up to then so it was definitely a "one off".
[It was the only time that I could walk in a straight line to my stateroom after having had a few drinks, so it wasn`t all bad! :lol:]

I LOVED St. Martin. :yes: We too docked at the St. Maarten side, but took transport to the French side. I could easily live there.

Castaway Cay is wonderful, isn't it? I often wonder if they'll ever offer actual vacation opportunities there?

My wife is always getting motion sickness (planes, trains, automobiles and ships). She takes both regular and non drousy dramamine and she has not had any problems on any of the cruuises. You just have to be consistant in taking it throughout the cruise.
