Went into the Apple Store in Milton Keynes today just to find out about in car headsets for my iphone, came out with a Bambo Pen :D

Its AMAZING! I'm having so much fun with it. I suffer from carpuntunel in my wrists and this feels so much better than using a mouse.

Its taking a bit of getting used to but I love it. :)

Isn't it incredible? For photographers it's beyond the best accessory you can get for editing.

It's a slippery slope though, I started with an intuos Wacom Technology - Intuos4 (http://www.wacom.com/intuos/) and now I use a Cintiq Cintiq - Product Overview (http://www.wacom.com/cintiq/)

If anyone reads this though and is tempted by a fake one from Aldi or something, don't even go there. Get the bamboo or the intuos. Nothing else comes even close

I'd love a bamboo pen, I've been sooooo close everytime I go into the apple store but always thought I'd not get much use out of it

The benefit once you get used to them is it's a lot more natural and accurate than using a mouse to select items on screen. So applying brushes to certain parts of a photo for example is much easier with the pen

It's also pressure sensitive like a proper brush would be and unlike a mouse. So again the depth of an effect you're painting onto a photo can be easily regulated by how hard you press the pen on the pad.

They're great devices and having tried a lot, wacom are just the best.
