hello a while ago there were some news reports that you had to take batteries out of all electronics and you could only have two batteries in hand luggage and things lke that
what is the law now on this please? we dont have to put them in the hold I hope???

I don't know if it's changed since last September, but I had a netbook, camera and phone with me. Had no problems going through with any of those.

Well, they do seem to come up with new rules constantly so it's always a good idea to read the Airline's webpages just before travel.

DH always has his batteries in his hand luggage and he has WAY MORE than two. We fly with Virgin and have never had any problems.
He usually has about 12 batteries in all.
