Just read this how stupid!!!!

Families heading to America on holiday could find themselves paying around £40 extra for their trip as President Obama looks set to introduce a new tourism tax for foreign visitors.

The Travel Promotion Act (TPA) aims to breathe new life into the American travel industry, which has suffered in the global downturn.
The initiative, likely to be put in place by the end of the year, will be funded by holidaymakers who will be charged $10 (£6.70) to help pay for tourism marketing campaigns.
As travellers are likely to pay the levy by credit card online, extra fees could push the tax up to as much as $15 (£10).

with so many green taxes on fuel going up every few months, airport taxes, fuel taxes everything is just pushing up the price of the flights so much that its getting hard to get the money together for a holiday to the us because the price is going up faster than we can save it

I sure hope that's not true. I can't abide any more of the previous eight years nonsense that went on. Too much destruction of civil liberties and far too much of giving to those who already had.

President Obama may not be the strongest president, and may be struggling to keep up with his campaign promises, but I'll take him over the previous regime in a heartbeat.
