Starting at $499

pretty sure it was less than that at the keynote was it not or is my memory deceiving me???

Still nothing on the UK site

if they start at £500 I may have to think again - I thought it was going to be more around the £350 mark

It was always $499 it's just sounding more expensive the longer we wait :yes:

UK pricing not due until April :(

I still suspect with the awful exchange rate + VAT, we'll be looking at £399 minimum but we'll see

Its like a great big iPhone Apple - iPad - The best way to experience the web, email, and photos (http://www.apple.com/ipad/) but will do so much more

great for emailing and surfingfrom the sofa, showing pictures around

and yes reading ibooks will be one of the things it can do but you'll probably be able to wordprocess and all sorts of stuff

its an ultra slim ultra portable sort of filofax for the poloneck generation :D

I thought that was what the iphone was supposed to be!! Did they make it too small originally :wink2:
