Plug my iPhone or my iTouch into my Macbook and not have iPhoto open every single time? It always happens when I am busy doing something on the web and one of the children comes along and plugs one of them in to charge. I try to immediately shut iPhoto down again but it just opens up again seconds later. It has become a battle of wills between me and it!

Get them one of these
Memwah Universal Compact Travel Charger USB Power: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Memwah-Universal-Compact-Charger-Compatible/dp/B0038FS7SQ/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1268670950&sr=8-5)
And they can charge it out of the wall rather than the laptop :D

1. Open iPhoto (iPhone can be plugged in but doesn't need to be)
2. Click on Preferences, on the iPhoto pull down at the top of your desktop
3. Click on the General tab and go to the bottom of the menu
4. Change Connecting Camera Opens, to No application
5. Good to go, and iPhoto will still recognize the iPhone it just won't open up automatically.

House is littered with these Chris but they like the idea of sitting next to me on the sofa whilst still flicking birds at pigs. :D
Off to try that now Keith!
