Walt Disney World has introduced a new look to one of its monorail trains. The redesign is temporary and touts the upcoming film Tron: Legacy, which is a sequel to the 1982 Disney film Tron. The new movie, starring Jeff Bridges, Bruce Boxleitner, Olivia Wilde and John Hurt, is expected to be released in December. In the meantime, look for the already-nicknamed ”Tronorail” to make the round around Epcot and Magic Kingdom. (Photo by Gene Duncan/Walt Disney Co.)

I know and I expect many people will feel the same but Tron was such an inconic cyber-movie. Its importance to some of us is, well, vast  it'd be a bit like them putting Edward from Twilght all over the monorails. I wouldn't like it but I bet you wouldn't complain ;-)

Tron was such a part of my youth that I am actually not looking forward to the remake.
For some reason I didn't feel the same about the new Star Wars films, but TRON for me was special and it still has a very special part in my heart

yeah I felt that way BUT I've seen interviews and so on. I mean it's not a remake, it's a sequel and everything they have in mind for it could work so well.
If they do a poor job, I'll take all this back of course

Well if I'm perfectly honest I haven't read that much - I still love the retro feel of the original - looks like the bikes are still part of it :D - wonder if the discs are still there

I *THINK* they've tried to update it whilst keeping it retro looking. Ach I don't know, I just have a good feeling and I hope I'm not disappointed.
