The sight of that plate overwhelms me!

I like all things on it, but the beans... it's just all together like that is a bit challenging no?

We have huge breakfasts here though too. If I eat that much in the morning, all I want to do is sleep for the next two hours! :D

Wow, that's a lot of fried food. But hey, don't tasty breakfasts include fried goodies?!

I am having a fiber bar and a mini bagel with onion/herb cream cheese.

Assume that is mushrooms in the back, but where is the roasted tomatoe? that was Donna's favorite part of the English brekkie.

 'ducky! I'm having a small bowl of oatmeal with blueberries. Far cry from Mama's perfectly fried egg over easy with buttered toast! :D

They don't look like the one in the photo. ;) (That's the way my Grandmother's looked and I wouldn't eat them. I can't eat an egg that is cooked to the point of the white being brown. :sorry: ).

Mama would melt butter in a pan, and once it was to temperature (not sizzling) she would break the egg into the butter. She'd simmer the egg gently, turn it once and simmer again until the white was completely cooked (how icky is uncooked egg white! ) and the yolk was hot, but still unset.

LOVED her eggs. :sigh:

I like eggs boiled so that the white is totally cooked and the yolk runny....then chop it up in a cup with a knob of butter and a slice of torn up bread. Mix well. Yum!
