Looks super cute - I believe he is effectively a robotic womble - question is are there any scary bits in it as this will hopefully be the first film we take the kids to. Considering all they have seen and done it seems remarkable but they are both frightened of the cinema.
Forewarned is foreearmed so what bits do we need to look out for?

I have you seen trailers here (http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/wall-e/) and it doesn't look scary.

:D it was worth a try
Taking Steven at some point over the holiday. This will be his third cinema trip. First was Meet The Robinsons and he got up and walked out 20 minutes from the end as he'd had enough. Second was Ratatouille with Adrian and he stayed to the end this time but needed lots of snacks to make him sit still. This time I'm taking duct tape with me. :D

Saw it with the Baleigh....there's a thread about it somewhere 'round here...Guess it depends on what you call scary, but all in all I'd say no...though there were a few "menacing" robots in a couple of scenes...

yeh.. some of the robots where a bit menacing but they might be too young to click on.. as they don't really took its all done through 'body' langauge.
It's a BRILLIANT film and really really funny too! Me and Jade LOVED it!
My DGK's loved Wall E...the youngest (4) was so excited about this movie that before it was even over she was pestering me to buy the DVD!

Thought it was a really cute little love story. Amazing how there was very little dialogue early on in the movie just sad eyes and sighs iykwim.
Depends how you define scary as the female robot Eva was a little agressive at first but even then it was funny how she lasered/shot theings like light bulbs and tv's when wall E was trying to befriend her.
By the end scenes it was like most cartoons where the good guys wins and they all live happily ever after.

Katelyn seems to be just in love with Wall E and that is just from the ads on tv!! I really wish she was old enough to take to the movies. When Dh turns on his laptop she goes crazy because he will show her the movie site
How old is she now Shellyamc? I can't remember. If she's so interested you could really try her at one! It's not so terribly expensive, and if she didn't do ok, you could just leave.
Seth went at 2 (Curious George) and he had the audience in stitches with his laughter.
I know she's not 2 yet, but she's such a smart, engaging little girl, I'll bet she'd be fine!

She is 20 months now, so pretty close to 2. I guess you are right really. I thought we should wait until she is older, but she may be just fine. What I really should do is see if the drive in is playing it. I know my Parents used to take my sister and I in our jammies and let us watch movies :p015:
Thank you for the advice as always :hug2:
