... wading through about 700 pics, these are a few from the Villa pool and from our trip up Mount Teide

Driving to Mount Teide was the most gairyest thing I ever did, not helped by the TomTom lady :dozey: who put me on roads sl narrower than the car and at a gradient that was steeper than most cliffs, oh and a 500ft drop by the side of the hairpins as well

It was the highest I think I've been then we got in a cable car for the last bit and there was snow at the top :mental: lovely to drive up through the clouds though - would love to take a scope up would be awesome

Great shots,
Bring back some lovely memories from our trip a few years back, We are hoping to go back next year to take youngest son Ryan as he wasn't born when we went.
Can't wait to see more.

Your pics are great as ever Chris  Those hill/mountainsides look like prime 'tortoise land' Not sure if they are at too high an altitude or not though  The dragon looks like a Galloti lizard (Southern Tenerife.) Don't quote me but if I remember rightly the males have blue markings and females are a dull colour, so the one you've seen looks female  Generally the higher altitudes reptiles live at, the darker they get a darker skin colour so that they can keep their body temperatures higher

Love the one of Matthew Jumping into the pool with the huge splash  Is it sad that I'm already excited for your kenya pictures and you haven't even left England yet?

OK will try and get on the computer later to upload some more - enjoyed the bird park and Loro parc was as good as Seaworld!

However , Thomas is being a bit 'possessive' of the iMac at the moment

I like the one of the cable car snow against the backdrop of a dessert!

Oh and BTW I am terrified of heights, I feel sorry for everyone else in that car that day it was essentially filled with my flop sweat and farts

It looks beautiful ad Ihope you had sucha wonderful holiday.

Can't wait to see more photo's - I did spot that you are not in a single one - is that because you are always behind the camera not in front?
