I think EPCOT is the 'love it, or hate it park'
First time I ever went was before I was a member of an online site like this and I knew very little about the parks. I wasn't impressed with EPCOT...at all.

Then, I joined an online Disney site, learnt there was more to the park than I gave it credit for and I now love the place.

I like WS more than FW. I love all of the entertainers from the different countries and, of course there's Illuminations!

Are you a lover or hater?

What's your favourite section of EPCOT?

We really like WS!

But staying at POR as we do, it's become very difficult for my DW to get back there. Perhaps next time we'll try staying at BC or YC where we get into the WS entrance more directly.

As far as our favorite section, that one's easy. That would be the food section!

Tom (:macave:... where shall we eat?)

OMG!!!! You need to ask?!

EPCOT, the World Showcase in particular is THE park for us! It's our number one favorite and it's one of the very few Disney things that I can point to and definitively say "my best."

I love talking to the CMs in the different countries. I love to hear their stories, especially at Christmas. All too often the British kids, and the French kids are really homesick so getting to talk about what their families are doing seems to help.

I like seeing all the things on offer. You'd think I'd never been there before the way I have to look at everything. There are the favorite drinks, the favorite treats, the favorite places to eat...

EPCOT is my A#1 all time favorite park.

oh EPCOT for me every time, love love love it

It was the first park I ever went to and it remains my favourite. Illuminations, especially at Christmas, well just wow. Wow.

Strangely enough, there are parts of WS I Still need to explore!

I do hate that theyve moved the entrance all the way to the left as you go in from the bus stands. I mean come on, Whyyyyyyyyyy.

Love it! MK will always be my favourite park just because. But Epcot is my second favourite - spent about 4 full days there last time and really explored.

Love EPCOT and yet believe there is so much more they could do especially in the World Showcase. Favorite times to visit are F&W and Christmas Season. Also enjoy the spring Flower and Garden Festival but don't get there that often.

It's Epcot for me as well, love it! The flowers, the smell of the air is so sweet when you walk by all the gardens. The food, the WS!!! I miss it!:sorry:

Me too.....all those twinkling lights to no longer walk through!

I know. :( Loss of the Arch really made a huge (and not good) difference in the festive air this past Christmas Season. I remember when they first put up the arch, but it was such a beautiful addition it's hard to understand why they'd take it away.

I remember too when the Santas and Storytellers were gone after Christmas day. It made it more authentic that way... now they are there throughout the entire season. Gives more people a chance to see them, but somehow spoils the whole "Santa is real" sort of thing they had going on with having Santa gone as of Christmas day.

Another positive vote for Epcot from me.
Somehow [probably due to it`s size and being actually 2 parks with WS and FW] it never seems to be too crowded compared to the other parks.
We love going there during the Garden Festival, seeing all the topiaries and massed floral displays.

I just told Johnie yesterday..."It's funny, I now look forward to seeing EPCOT for the first time on a trip the same way I look forward to seeing the castle."

It has become "my place" I LOVE it.

Took me a while to 'Get' Epcot but I absolutely love it and it reaches tegh parts the otehr parks just don't reach, WS is brilliant and the Kim Possible stuff is just amazing. But I have to say future worls has lost its was a bit, its not as cohesive as it once was with Disney putting thrill rides in to try and get the crowds in rather than focussing on the educational side of it, UoE looks tired and old, WoL has been left to rot wheras the living Seas and thLand are soo much better than they were - maybe they are doing 1/2 at a time

My best ever Disney experience was the Epcot tapestry of nations parade, the music still makes me shiver, sooo powerful and we have heard it all over the world

As I get older I love EPCOT more, but it has to keep changing by the very nature of its remit

I like nothing more than having a cup of coffee and asticky bun and watching the fountain.

Equally the kids can spen hours running around on the fibre optic lights in a paving slab

I remember those evenings...the kids would play for hours in our "secret spot"

Savor those moments (as I know you do) they pass too quickly.

Another yes from me

I honestly didn't think I would like it when Dh and I first went. I mean you hear how boring it is and how there is nothing to do, but I didn't find it that way at all. I thought it was relaxing and so nice to just slow down a bit and really look at things. I always have a good time there

Now if my Mom and Dad go with us on this next trip we shall see what their opinion is

As soon as I enter the park, I grab a guide with the entertainment times and spend a couple of minutes marking the WS entertainment that I want to see...planning so I get to see just about all of it. Everything else can fit around that for me :D

I love British Invasion, I get mesmerised by the belly dancer from MoRockin, enjoy chinese acrobats and absolutely love Voices of Liberty. Off Kilter I do enjoy but no matter where I stand/sit, I aways seem to have the sun blazing in my eyes during this show.

My DW and I love the British Invasion also!

She screams like a school girl at the Beatles 1965 Shea Stadium concert. I pretend I don't know her!

I love Epcot - I just wish the World in the World showcase would be more accurate (well, I would say that wouldn't I!) - there is so much they could do there.

I made it to the FWF last time and that was sooo much fun - I could have eaten there all night!

I love Mission Space it is my 2nd favourite ride at Disney so Epcot gets  from me!

LOVE EPCOT!! EPCOT is the best park. I loved it when I first visited as a teen and I love it even more today. People are just so much nicer and relaxed (I think) than at the other parks.

It's mostly people strolling through and enjoying the park rather than trying to run to attractions (except Soarin').

There's something to do in every country, and in every country you get to meet someone new.

People are more willing to hang out a talk over a glass of wine or a pint of beer. I always enjoy striking up a conversation with a CM or a fellow guest. You will find that people are more willing to open up at Epcot. It's truly a global meeting place (probably has something to do with the alcohol. HA!)
