Never ever been to any of the waterparks in Florida. Have no intentions of ever going to a waterpark in Florida.

How about you? Lover or hater?

If I had to choose one, I'd go for Aquatica.

wow perhaps I should go have a look some time. My only experience with them so far is when the bus stops off there on the way to a resort and a load of wet shivery people get on

obviously i cant go on any rides anymore and that kills me but the lazy river is excellent a nice way to get to another part of the park without walking. the wavepool is just awesome, everyone here just loves it, its supposedly better now since the major rehab to it in 08/09 just laying on the beach there listening to the piped music like the beach boys adds to the overall experience. the perfect way to chill after a few days in the main parks.....i always do some filming and take photos there. for me they add to the holiday most definitley

We've never actually been to an Orlando water park but we fully intend to go to bb and tl next year. I would be happy to float round the lazy river all day

Normally we head to one of the Disney's water park the day after landing as relaxing on the lazy river make it worth while!!!!!

Been on some of the slides and love it and every time we go there, I try and attempt to go on the bigger slide!!

Normally we go about 3 or 4 times in two weeks (both water park)

We absolutely love the Waterparks, especially Typoon lagoon and Blizzard Beach.

The last 2 years we haven't done Disney apart from the Waterparks.

Have been to Aquatica once and enjoyed it but like the Disney Waterparks better.

You must go Keith, the lazy river is lovely and the rides are fab, we all love the family raft and I love the tubes at TL- the red slopes, middle run is in the dark and it my absolute favourite

I guess my feelings are I'd rather be in a Disney park - or SW/BG/US etc. Any park before a waterpark.

you have to go and try one, even if its the only time you go and dont like it. as the saying goes "you cant say you dont like something until you've tried it" :D

I don't personally like them but then I don't swim don't like water and hate sunbathing, oh and you wouldn't get me in a swimsuit for anything!

that's just me though and the theming and attractions at the Disney ones are great, I now leave colin and the kids to it!

We have never done one. Of course we have never been with kids either

Mommy is very uncomfortable in a bathing suit, so we usually just avoid, but I don't know about this next trip. That sneezing gator is too cute though!

Well that is good to know. I always hear about women loosing bits of their suits on large slides

Dh always jokes that I wear more clothes when I swim then when I'm just walking around :slap:

depending where you get your tickets from keith

if you get them from the uk then yes the water parks are already on them if you get them whilst there then you have to mention having the ones with water park option on them

Shelly :hug2:

i know exactly how you feel, i tend to wrap a short sarong around me whilst walking around then when i get on the lazy river we just leave flip flops, sarong and towels at the side and make sure we get off in the same place!

honestly, if you feel self concious just remember there are dozens of other people there feeling the same way :hug2:

We always do waterparks but never disney ones as we never buy a disney ticket. Always do wet n wild and last time we did aquatica - we really liked it there, it was very calm and you could hear music playing which i really like. It had a lovely part for the kids and isabelle was quite happy in the shade playing with the sand and pottering in and out of the water. We plan to go back this year!

Im not keen on getting flesh out! I wear a swimming costume (so there are no, erm, spillages!) and a pair of dh's swimming shorts! Last time i went swimming with my sister i had a sarrong on, i took it off at the poolside and shot in the water so i wouldnt be seen - my sister said she had never seen me move so fast - i was like a greyhound moving!!
