Haven't heard anything about a new restaurant at MK... I'll be there this weekend and see if I can find out anything...

It's true indeed! Part of the fantasyland expansion project which is being undertaken at the moment

Large parts of MK are now walled off and several parts have large banners on them explaining what will be built there including the "be our guest" restaurant. I tried to get a photo of the full banner but there was a screaming brat in front of it and its mother refused to move :slap:

Anyway yes, it's there and in the process of being built  I'll see if I can find the photo once I've photoshopped out the wailing little troll.

"Be Our Guest Restaurant where you can dine in one of three different rooms from Beastís castle (one is the Ballroom), and outside will be the Belleís Village area that will include Gastonís Tavern"

Guests will soon be able to:

* Visit their favorite Disney Princess in her castle, cottage, or chateau to share a dance with Cinderella; celebrate Sleeping Beauty's birthday with the Good Fairies; or join Belle in an enchanting story performance in the Beast's castle library.
* Be Our Guest and dine in one of three enchanted rooms inside the Beast's castle.
* Fly with Dumbo high above brand new circus grounds, twice the size of the existing attraction with a new interactive, three-ring circus tent.
* Journey under the sea with Ariel, The Little Mermaid, in her very own attraction - also opening at Disney's California Adventure in Anaheim in 2011.
* Meet Tinker Bell and her friends in the magical world of Pixie Hollow.

 well the areas were all walled off but I didnt see much going on. Disney really can move when they want to but I think the timetable for much of this stuff is 2011/2012 to be ready for a grand celebration in 2013

Still, 168 days (184 for me) we'll have Harry Potter at universal I guess :)

That restaurant sounds awesome, sign me up! I would love to sit in Gaston's Tavern. How cool is that?

I don't think I can make it back to Disney until at least 2012, unless I get an internship in FL.

You know the airbus they're talking about is actually smaller than the 747 that goes there now? The 380, the huge one, isnt scheduled until at least 2013 :)
