Anyone else out there doing this? Or have you done it already? Who are you doing it for?

Im taking part this year, my race is on Sunday. Im doing it for my beautiful brother in law who sadly lost his life in January to a very rare form of cancer at the age of 46 :(. I have raised over 300 so far which im really pleased about!

Ahh Kate that is lovely - especially as you hate excerise but this is the thing, you have the option and sadly he doesn't, so actually you are blessed to be able to excercise ( I hope that makes sense)

Go Kate  He would definately be proud of you :hug2: We all are

I still say he would be proud of you. I only knew him through chats with you but I bet he's there somewhere calling you a name with a smile on his face and beaming from ear to ear.

I'm doing it again on 21st June.
The friend i ran for last year sadly lost her battle last September so i will be running in her memory.
The 15 year old boy i spend most of my week with at school has also asked me to write his mum's name on my sign as she passed 3 years ago.
My best friend's Mum has beaten breast cancer but has just found out it has returned to her esophagus, liver and lungs so i will be running for her too as we wait to find out her prognosis.
Good luck to everyone running,it's a fantastic way to raise money and awareness.
