You have to book through Virgin holidays not VA and its only for Florida and Carribean flights. You can get it with a flydrive though.

Which airport? As Gatwick have their own private lounge and it is similar price as V room but you get all drinks are included (yep even the naughty ones!)

There is no hot food just muffins and fruits etc

It's a bit of a contentious issue this one  the rules seemed to state that any virgin holidays customer with a package from them could book it where a package was two items. So some people have got in having booked a hotel and park tickets.

On that basis a hotel+car hire would work yep!

Apparently some virgin staff insist that you have to have a flight component to the package to book it though. Seems to depend who you ask!

What about if youve booked with travel city direct - who are owned by virgin? im assuming you should be able to use the room seeing as everything is really in virgins name?

I cant decide whether or not to do this - its extra money, but then theres food and drink, and if we get delayed like last time theres things in there for children to do isnt there

I think i'll look into it - even if its just so that i know one way or the other! I have to go onto virgins website to make a payment, and virgin atlantic to book the seats on the plane, meals etc so im assuming the v room would be no different really?!

I asked this Kate and was told no :( travel city direct is no frills, no vroom, no higher priced disney hotels just cheap and cheerful was what the woman on the phone said.

You'd think they wouldnt care as long as they got the money wouldnt you
