Mostly it's ok but the 20 a month is mean given you have to sign a new contract anyway

Also if I 'sell' my phone which would 'pay' off the closure fee...

Find your Apple. (http://www.o2recycle.co.uk/phoneModels.asp?c=Apple&did=1)

I'd get 173 for mine, baring in mind the 3gs is 179 with an 18 month 30 contract I reckon the 4 g will be a lot more. I'm not willing to pay more. Will eek this one out a bit.

You should sell them through someone like CeX you'll get alot better return than the 02 recycling. 02 aren't offering an awful lot

Was in the 02 shop about an hour ago and whilst they were aware of the 20 pound thing she said they weren't sure how much the handset was going to cost on top. So be prepared to spend 20 a month to get out of a contract more a month for the contract and then gawd knows how much go buy a new phone as well.....

There's two  I've hear that people have been quoted different prices for games by both of them before so I'd visit both

One is just next to the little Sainsburys in Liverpool Central train station, and the 2nd is to the left of the new Costa coffee in the Liverpool One

It will still come down to how much they want for the handset......

Keith, CEX gives you ALOT more for unlocked iphones - have a look for a program called 'spirit' which jailbreaks them and unlocks them.

Your best bet would also be to hit them early in the day - if you want cash back for them they don't always have tons of cash, and I'm not sure if they can put it onto your card as a refund, so you need a store with a lot of cash.

And if you've never used them before, you need to register - passport and driving licence required!
