Hi,
Normally I eat at one the food court at Florida Mall, usually one of the Chinese outlet.
Prices normally not to bad, I don't bother with 'proper' sit down dining as want to maximise my time at the mall

yep same here  ruby tuesday at the florida mall usually
There are a number of restaurants very close to the Mall at Millenia. So, if you don't see something in the mall (but there are nice full service as well as food court options) you can walk out to the main roadway area and choose from all those you can see!

i don't like my cheesecake to be interfered with- just give me plain old new york cheesecake everytime!
i like the salad bar at ruby tuesday- haven't eaten it in Orlando but usually very reasonable too.

really??? like what Tink?
I didn't know there was anything walkable from there but I'm very interested :)
Oh gosh yes.
Let me do a search for the names. I can't think of them all, but Mimi's, Olive Garden, some little chinese panda fast food, Planet smoothie, the Elephant something or other, there is a brew house there...
It's a matter of walking through the parking lot of the mall toward the main road. There are little "strip mall" areas at the roadside, and that is where many of the restaurants are two. Some are a bit further (easily walkable) along in either direction or across the street.

Wow thats great thanks! as you know, we don't tend to get to try many of the brand restaurants so if we can walk a bit from the mall that would work well :D
Seriously, just walk to the "front" of the mall and stroll the sidewalk in either direction (looking across the street too).
The majority of choices are on the mall side of the street, but there are a couple of nice choices (the brew house, and Olive Garden for two) across the street and in the direction of IKEA (mall at your back, look right).
There is always IKEA's cafeteria too. :D
Oh, and it's the Elephant Bar.
