silly question I guess but is this really religious or is it a general kinda thing that we'd enjoy as something to do.

It is not a wholly religious experience. There obviously are some religious songs mixed in to the repertoire. However, none of them would be what I call old time Gospel music. We have been once and it was a great experience. We are going back again in October.
