Hi,

I am looking to buy a new USB memory stick thingy and i am wondering if there is any brand I should be aware of or any will do?

Well I use the freebies that reps give me and TBH I've never had a problem with any one of them, and I can't believe they use anything but the cheapest ones avaliable.

I have a Scan, a really cheap one, and then I have another one (name escapes me right now) that cost a little more. No difference between the two.

Go with the one that has the most memory and call it good.

Pretty much most memory, lowest cost.

They're such a commodity item anymore that it's pretty hard to screw them up.

Tom (:macwave:... if it's free, it's for me!)

I've got a 'data traveller' and a 'traxdata' one- they're all pretty much the same and most of them use Sony memory anyway  Have a scout around eBay!

Oh and avoid most popular electronic stores. A friend worked in PC World once and the mark-up on Memory Sticks, USB cables and HDMI Cable is sometimes in excess of 700%
