Well it's all good news, I'm sending this from my iPad.

iTunes has finally recognized it and registered my sim. I went for the 1GB of data at 10 a month as while I'm at home I'll be linking into the home wireless

I'm so relieved thought I was going to have to take it back for a while there.

Just got to sort out my diary now and get it all put over to here. Not sure if I'm going to use the Mac diary that's preinstalled on here or if I'm going to download a different one!?!?! Any suggestions?

Thanks for all your help yesterday Tom and Keith I really appreciate your patience  :hug2:

And the crowd goes crazy!!! :wav:

Just glad you got it sorted! Sorry about all the hassles.

Not sure what Diary you're referring to? Is that the Calendar application. I only use apps like that for basic appointments and such. Not sure what your requirements are. I'd say, try the one you've got. Keep in mind however that if it's the Calendar app you're referring to, it will sync with iCal that's on your Mac. Useful to keep track of appointments.

If it doesn't work out well for you, check the app store. There's probably an app for what you need to do that will work out.

Tom (:macwave:... phew! That's a relief!)

Yeah sorry I meant calendar. I want to use it mainly for my photography business rather than the paper Filofax I am currently using.

Does anyone know if Bento backs up anywhere on iTunes?

Good news that it has all worked out for you Lisa! Nothing more aggravating than a new piece of electronics that won't work the way you expect it to, right out of the box!

Hope it's all you hoped for and need it to be!
