Isafari’s itinerary 19th December 08 to 18th January 09

This is the plan so far....when I say full day at a park, I mean full day from around 9am until park closure.

FRIDAY 19TH DECEMBER
Hopefully leave home around 2pm after doing online check in. Driving to Manchester airport which is about three and a half hours away.
Have booked us the Celebration Package at the SAS Radisson for tonight:
ROOM DESCRIPTION:
- +/-25 square metres
- Buffet breakfast, premuim movies, newspapers, bathrobe and slippers included
- Room type / Bed type / Smoking preference confirmed
- Free broadband and in-room Nespresso coffee machine

SATURDAY 20TH DECEMBER
Also DH’s birthday.
If the flight is on time, we should leave about 13.30pm for MCO….arriving 17.55pm Florida time.
Call in at Publix at Champions Gate for supplies and grabbing a pizza or burger.
Unpack before hitting the sack.

SUNDAY 21ST DECEMBER
Hopefully get to have a lie in …. Unless some one sends us a text OR TEN at stupid o’clock (you know who you are):lol:
DISNEYS HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS just want to make sure we get to see the holiday stuff as when we come back later in the holiday, they will be gone. So definitely Osborne Lights…..and maybe Fantasmic seeing as we are there!

MAGIC KINGDOM….full day

TUESDAY 23RD DECEMBER
ANIMAL KINGDOM….full day

WEDNESDAY 24TH DECEMBER
Meeting Wendy and her husband Chris. No plans yet.

THURSDAY 25TH DECEMBER
Start of a 5 day tour….
Driving to have Christmas dinner with friends in Cape Coral

FRIDAY 26TH DECEMBER
Naples Zoo….after dinner driving to Coconut Creek

SATURDAY 27TH DECEMBER
Butterfly & Bird World at Coconut Creek

SUNDAY 28TH DECEMBER
Lion Country Safari at Loxahatchee

MONDAY 29TH DECEMBER
McCarthy’s Wildlife Sanctuary in the morning
Cypress Airboat Tour … 3 hour tour of the Everglades coming back during sunset.
Drive back to Davenport

TUESDAY 3OTH DECEMBER
Have a lie in!
Quite a relaxing day just wandering around DTD…..maybe hiring a boat at Captain Jacks then go to the movies.

EPCOT full day

THURSDAY 1ST JANUARY
Have a lie in
Premium and Prime Outlets
Spirit of Aloha at 8pm

FRIDAY 2ND JANUARY

SkyVenture sky diving wind tunnel
Wonderworks including lazer tag game and Outta Control Magic Comedy dinner show

Have a lie in

8pm Arabian Nights dinner show

MONDAY 5TH JANUARY
BUSCH GARDENS full day including the Saving A Species Tour

TUESDAY 6TH JANUARY
UNIVERSAL STUDIOS full day

WEDNESDAY 7TH JANUARY
Free day….whatever we feel like doing on the day….even sleeping all day!!!

THURSDAY 8TH JANUARY
We will both have a camera so we are going to have a tour around the parks and resorts and just take photos

FRIDAY 9TH JANUARY
BUSCH GARDENS full day including Heart of Jungala Tour

SATURDAY 10TH JANUARY
Have a lie in
Sammy Duvall’s for a spot of parasailing and hiring watercraft
Fort Wilderness for a spot of archery
Old Town Kissimee for … the largest weekly car cruise in America! An average of 325 classic cars, hot rods, street rods, and antiques come to Old Town to cruise every Saturday. The cars roll in to Old Town beginning at 1:00 pm, and the Saturday Nite Cruise® starts at 8:30 pm (and lasts at least 30 minutes). Live 50's & 60's style rock-n-roll begins at 7:00 pm on the Main Stage.

We've never been before.....all previous comments I've had about the place said it was ok and the locals were friendly :unsure:

No, it's not a bad place Isafari. No rearranging of faces. :hug1: It can get a bit loud with drinking, but you don't have to hang in those areas.

It's worth at least one visit.

Still, I'd rather be doing stuff than lying on a beach for 4 weeks so I'd be the same :yes:

The first time I went to Florida, we stayed near Old Town and I vaguely remember the car parade thing. It was busy with lots of people just like a typical Saturday night. I have to say it wasn't really my cup of tea but you have to try these things don't you :)
