... another step away from flash - this truely epic site now has about 25 live tv channels now presented in great definition for the ipad, free to register and up and running in about 2 seconds, watched the footie with the boy in bed yesterday - the stuff of star trek indeed :yes:

Does this have subtitles?
I tries BBC iplayer and was gutted that it does not allow me to watch any program with subtitles sigh......

Sorry Jeff no it's just live streaming. I'm surenthe inlayer will have cc when it gets past the beta testing stage

Jeff, 90% of the iPlayer vids do have subtitles now. I remember when it was launched it never and there was uproar but I do remember a news piece some time ago saying that 90% or more of the videos now have subtitles :yes:

Just had a look at the iPlayer, there is now an 's' button next to the volume controls that turns on subtitles :) :yes:

ach can't find it on the ipad to download. Don't really want to sync for just that.

I don't know, it's either that or the htc desire. I will be well miffed if he gets it before me!
No Tracy he's very anti apple but he's been sucked in by the iPad.
