What's your opinion on this?

I imagine that for the female CM's it is a very welcome move.

I'm totally ok with the panty hose, for goodness sake it's FL.

But I think sleeves are important for all CMs. But hey that's just me.

If it makes the CMs more comfortable it has to be a good thing, as long as they still look smart.

I think it will be fine. I'm sure the female population is pretty happy about this - think of the money that are going to save

I am glad that they said "unless it is part of a costume." I think in some costumes it would be very noticeable if the CM had bare legs

I had no idea they were so strict previously - completely crazy.

MInd you they still insist of Mickey wearing those gloves all day

I think getting rid of wrist length sleeves and nylon encasing is a sensible thing, especially given the average temperatures in the summer!

Disney is VERY strict on what can be worn... one plain gold band for men, for example... if your band is decorative, then you can't wear it; considered a hygeine risk (I am referring to CMs who work in any sort of food service, any sort)... things like that.

Costumes are just that, costumes, but when the CM is wearing their own professional clothing (managerial sorts) then it's silly to require those long sleeves and dark colors!

I often wonder how they don't pass out from heat exhaustion. Especially the guest services CM's who trot about giving private tours. The shoes look way uncomfortable too.

The women CMS of Norway have miserably hot costumes too. :sigh:
