View Full Version : I have a challenge for you all

Something for you all to ponder while I'm at Disney World.

Yes I'll write a trip report but...something I've been toying with for a while. I want to expand on the trip report and actually write a book about the trip. I've discovered that Amazon have a scheme where they will publish for you and only print each copy as it is sold. I want to give it a go. Any tiny pence of profit I may make I would donate to Help for Heroes - a UK based charity helping our armed forces abroad.

Anyway, your challenge is...to come up with a title for the book.

A few hints to help: 4 adults, 1 7 year old, 1 first timer, first time in a villa.

I throw the floor open for suggestions. I may even bring back a prize from the World for the winner. In fact there will definitely be a prize. :D

I think it should be called

Disneyworld by Dawn!

07-08-2010, 10:26 AM
Even better

Dawn does Disney :)

07-08-2010, 11:04 AM
"Our Best"

07-08-2010, 11:05 AM
The tag-line could be "Follow our holiday, one carpe diem at a time" :rotfl:

07-08-2010, 11:44 AM
Will have a think! Can you sign my copy please?

07-08-2010, 12:03 PM
What about "Hide the broccoli Cinderella, we're on out way back!"

08-08-2010, 12:43 PM

How about -

'The dawn of a great family vacation to Disneyworld.'? :D

Any tiny pence of profit I may make I would donate to Help for Heroes - a UK based charity helping our armed forces abroad.

That's enough of a prize. What a lovely idea. :hug2:

I so want a book too!

For a title...

How about.....

A Dawn on Walt Disney World........

08-08-2010, 04:51 PM
The Dawn of Disney

09-08-2010, 09:45 AM
I wrote the first page last night. :mental:

Don't really want my name in the title though.

Been looking at printondemand services too. Looks like I may have to order a small print run and sell them directly. And I have to deposit a copy with the British Library and pay for an ISBN number and all sorts of stuff.

Oh well, I've always wanted to write a book so carpe diem.

09-08-2010, 12:22 PM
Did you not find the Amazon one suitable? Hope you don't mind me asking but I want to write a tortoise 'owners manual' sort of book and I don't think anyone would be interested in publishing it so 'publish-it-yourself' sounds like a good idea

09-08-2010, 12:45 PM
Well I've been looking at Printondemand-worldwide | Book Printing | Environmentally friendly book production (http://www.printondemand-worldwide.com)

Amazon don't seem to offer what I'm looking for unless I'm missing it completly on their website.

"This Ain't the Grizwolds Family Vacation"

"I went to Disney and all I wrote was this family vacation"

I'll try to come up with some more.

09-08-2010, 04:43 PM
"Fasten your clipboards, it's going to be GAIRY ride!"

09-08-2010, 06:42 PM
