I really need to set up a client database for my photography business rather than just doing it all on paper.

Ideally I need something that will record all their personal details, packages, extras, prices, deposit, installment amounts and when. Then another for the portrait side of things.

Does anyone know if this is possible to run on the ipad yet?

If I am going to shell out £530 for a 3G one, I want to make sure I am going to get the best out of it that I possibly can for my business too.

You need to take a look at Bento (http://www.filemaker.com/products/bento/ipad.html?nav=products-bento-ipad) from Filemaker. It's a general purpose data base management system that you can make into almost anything you'd like! Contact manager, product catalog, etc.

Tom (:macwave:... thinking about getting it himself. Just because it's there!)

Hmm, that looks a possibility, especially if I can edit it for what I need it to include. Thanks Tom :)
